  Do not be fooled by the location/design - food and service is simply unparalleled. Hands down best Italian food in Richmond Hill in cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Just let owner / waiter / cook Johnny take care of you and your company.

  Gnocchi is quite good, service is great. The lasagna we had was a bit watery. The price is so-so.

  It looked like a tiny dingy place from the outside but that is not how it was on the inside! For a small Richmond Hill restaurant, I am stunned! I went for my birthday and it was close to closing but the owner was accommodating and made everything to order (wow). We were also the only ones in the restaurant so maybe that helped with the service. Waitress was nice, chef was phenomenal, food was outstanding and the lighting was great for my pictures! Take a look at the menu prior to going because it is a little pricey/the bill can add up!

  I visited this place for dinner on my birthday, and I was not disappointed. The food was excellent, the owner, Johnny, is extremely friendly and nice, and the price was reasonable for what you get. I ordered the pan seared calf liver, and I tell you, it was one heck of an awesome dish! It felt extremely tender yet had a but of a crust to out. I ordered mine medium rare so it was also extremely juicy and almost melted in my mouth. It was the best calf liver dish I have eaten, and I can confidently recommend it to others to try. :) I also ordered the potato gnocchi after seeing positive reviews for it and I was very impressed. This gnocchi was just the right size to strike that much needed balance between texture and flavour. Can also recommend it for being completely delicious. Overall I was very satisfied with Citro and can easily recommend others to visit this relatively hidden gem. You won't regret it. :)
